A Safe, Substance-Free Step Toward Stability

Transitional housing and coordinated support in Salem, OR — for adults rebuilding after treatment, incarceration, or homelessness.

Who We Are & Who We Serve

Who can live at Open Door Recovery Co-Living?

Adults (18+) who are seeking a substance-free transitional living environment — commonly people leaving treatment programs, reentering society after incarceration, or transitioning out of homelessness. We accept both men and women; eligibility is confirmed during intake. If you're committed to recovery and willing to follow house rules, you're welcome to apply.

Which areas do you serve?

Our homes are located in the City of Salem, Oregon, with services focused on Salem and nearby areas in Marion County. If you're outside the area, contact us — we'll advise on availability and referrals.

Admissions & What to Expect

How do I apply and how long does placement take?

Call or submit our online application. The intake team screens for eligibility and safety, then you schedule a virtual or in-person intake interview. Placement depends on bed availability; typically we confirm within 24–72 hours. If immediate shelter is needed, tell us — we'll prioritize urgent cases and provide referrals if we're full.

What documents and information do I need for intake?

Photo ID, any discharge paperwork from treatment or incarceration (if applicable), emergency contact, and brief consent forms. If you don't have documents, contact us — we will help you navigate alternatives.

Do you accept walk-ins or referrals from treatment centers and justice programs?

Yes. We work with treatment centers, parole/probation officers, shelters, and community agencies. Referrals speed placement — ask your case manager to contact us directly.

Ready to Take the Next Step?

Apply now or call our admissions team — we'll walk with you through every step.
